Charity actually is very linked to volunteer or Social Actions, thats why the most of ways to do charity are through of Volunteer. But, before I speak about the ways of Volunteer to do charity, let see what is the meaning of volunteer.

According to the UN definition, "the volunteer is a  young or a adult who, because of his personal interest and his civic spirit, devoted part of their time without any compensation, to various forms of activities, organized or not, and social welfare, or other fields ... "

Well, according to the definition of what is a volunteer we may  have a perception of which way we can do charity through the volunteer. Let list some ways to do charity!

• Being a volunteer in the area of health

Many people think that when you're a volunteer you don't receive training, well, this can happen with people who want to start a volunteer work  without be linked with some specific organization. But normally, this kind of volunteer work only happen when is linked to some organization, that give a lot of trainings teaching how  the volunteer have to react in some specifics situations and also in everyday of work. The volunteer in the area of health usually do things  like; apply a remedy, check the pressure of the patient, make a bandage and others things.

• Being a volunteer in shelters and orphanages

The volunteers in orphanages are very important, because for the childrens they'll be like protectors, ie, doing the paper of the parents to them. For this kind of charity you should  have a psychological preparation, becouse you'll be working with kids hurts in their hearts, the most of them were abandoned by their parents or  the only surviver of a accident. In this job you have to give too much love to the childrens and have to be comprehensible too, because many of them are revolted with their situation, expecially the teenagers, because few familys want adopt a teenager with their minds formed and  his habits too. They prefer to adopt a children, because they can educate by their own form to do it. This kind of charity, is the most popular and the most difficult of them but also the most rewarding!

The volunteers of animal shelters are trained to give love and affection to the animal, they also are treined to hold and feed the animal of the better form.

Many animals has been target of evilness and because of this, many of them are endangered. But, there are a organized group that rescues these animals of evilness claws and take them to a shelter. There in the shelter, the animals receive a special treatment by the volunteers, vets and canines psychologists. The job of the volunteer in the animal shelter is basicly feed the animals, apply remedy, prepare the place that the animal will stay, make bandages and others things.

• Doing volunteer work for the municipality where you live

The volunteer that makes services to the municipality can do many activities like; paint the wall of the street; pruning the trees;help to give food in a picnic organized by municipality.

The municipality needs the help of the residents to keep it in order,so, there´s not too much things to explain, the volunteer of the municipality have a million options of things to do, and are not things difficult.

You may be a volunteer of the municipality  just keeping in order the around  your home.

Like all kinds of charity, for this kind you have to have love to this, because many people criticize this job just because is volunteer, and more, if your job is keep the streets clean, there'll be some people that will put garbage in the street just to bother you. That's why this is a love work.

• Visiting and donating things to prisons

This kind of volunteer work is very important and demand of you a bigger love and comprehension. Many people don't do this charity,because they think that the prisoners doesn't deserve, but this is charity, give love even for the ones who doesn't deserve.

The job of this volunteer is visit the prisoners, take to them a word of hope, the meaning of change, they take food, they promote a relaxing time.

The prisoners need to see of us a hope, a hope to change. Most of prisoners are freed with angry of world because they just see in us someone that want take out their freedom and this situation won't change the world or finish the criminal world.

• Helping childrens in the school

We can see that in the schools are many childrens with troubles in some subjects and most of this childrens are reproving and repeating year in the school. According to this situation we can see how importante are the volunteers in the schools, their job is help kids in their school difficulties also promote to them fun, social interaction and a relaxing place to study. The volunteer in the school also help the teachers in their jobs.

• Give lessons of dance or music to take out childrens of the criminal world

This is a kind of volunteer work of rescue, ie, they take out childrens of streets, of the criminal world, of the drugs world and other worlds that abuse the childrens.

These volunteers try to rescue these  childrens and teenagers by getting them attention to learn a dance,music, other languages, doing their own toys, painting and other things that make them busy.

There are reports of childrens that left the drugs wolrd, thanks this kind of charity. We cannot close our eyes  to the situation of drugs in our country and we know that many childrens has been target of drugs and crime, so, let's do something, let's be a voluntee

• Organize a group of people to give food to the homeless

Well, this kind of charity is very simple, but like in all charity, you have to love do it. There are many peoples that doesn't have any place to live, just the street,ie, they dont have nothing to eat or somewhere safe to sleep. The job of the volunteer is gather foods and clothes and maybe mattresses and pillows for the homeless, after they gather this things, they make a group of volunteers and they go to the streets to donate what they gathered.


Is not safe do it alone, is advisable go in groups because some homeless may try something against you!

There are many charities doing this job through the volunteers and they has rescued many homeless because together with the things they donate they take a word of hope too, they show to the homeless that they can change their lives, they just have to want!

What Is The True Meaning Of Charity?

Many people think that charity is only about money, or a food that we give for someone who needs. But charity is too much more than that, it have to come from heart. You can do charity without any money, you can do it without food in hands or old clothes to give, you can do charity just giving attention to someone, and more, this someone dont have to be poor, this someone may be of your family!

Some questions for you dear reader, "Do you know everyone that lives in your street?", "Do you give good-morning for everyone you see, everyday?", "When you see someone crying you ask what is happening or you just continues walking, pretending that  you didn't see that person?". Well, if you do it you'll be doing charity, do you know why?. Let me explain!

There are three kinds of people in need, the first is the more popular,everybody knows this kind of person, they are the poor ones of material things, like the homeless and  the hungry ones.  The second one are the poor of attention, the poor of pure feelings, the poor of hapiness. The third one are the poor of both things, he or she needs money and attention.

For the first case your help can be limited around money, ie, you can help just giving money to them, it'll help them with their materials needs and this kind of things. Another way to help is giving the first step, because is not easy have to  asking money  to everybody,so,when you give the first step you´re helping them to not expose themselves too much.

 For the second case your help may be based on  affection, you can make the situation a little bit better just giving a smile, a "good-morning", showing to them that you care about their troubles, that you wanna help, that you want to be friend to them.

For the third case you have to help in two ways, by giving money and  affection, you have to show that you wanna help them in their financial but also in their affectives needs.
